The social media company said last week that if images or videos of private people were shared without permission, they would be taken down if someone asked. Activists say that members of the far-right are taking advantage of the policy to have accounts that show who they are shut down.

People were making “coordinated and malicious reports” about a lot of accounts that were suspended by mistake, so Twitter took them down.
