100 new hacking attempts are made every minute because of a flaw in computer code that is used by many people, a security company says.
Check Point said it had seen attempts to use the flaw on more than 40% of corporate networks around the world, which is a lot.
Some companies say that Log4shell, a flaw in security, is being used by criminal groups. One US official says this is a “severe risk.”
Fixes have been given, but they still need to be put into place. Popular apps and cloud services have been harmed.
